Therapy
Dogs

At TAPA on the White Bridge College site, our two much-loved therapy dogs play a special role in supporting students’ wellbeing and engagement.
Cilla, a gentle 14-year-old black pug, brings a calm and reassuring presence. Her quiet nature makes her especially comforting for students who may feel anxious or overwhelmed, offering a sense of stability and trust.
Alongside her is Marylin, a lively and friendly four-year-old blonde companion, whose playful energy helps lift spirits and encourages positive interactions. Together, Cilla and Marylin provide emotional support, help reduce stress, and create opportunities for students to build confidence in a relaxed and nurturing environment.
Whether it’s a quiet moment of comfort or a joyful interaction, their presence helps make TAPA a welcoming and supportive place where students can thrive.
